Duct Divers MI LLC (“Duct Divers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides dryer vent cleaning, inspection, repair, and rebuild services in Royal Oak, Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne Counties, Michigan. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website (ductdiversllc.com), how we use it, and who we share it with. By using our website or booking a service with us, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
We do not offer customer accounts or logins — the only way we collect personal information is when you book an appointment. When you submit our booking form, we collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Service address
- Service type, preferred date and time
- How you heard about us, and (if applicable) which sales representative referred you
- Any notes you choose to add about your appointment
If you book by phone or in person with one of our sales representatives, that representative enters the same information into our system on your behalf.
We also use a bot-verification check (Cloudflare Turnstile) when you submit the booking form, which processes your device's IP address to help us block automated spam submissions.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Schedule, confirm, and perform the service you requested
- Send you a booking confirmation email and a reminder email before your appointment
- Contact you by phone, text, or email about your appointment if needed
- Maintain internal scheduling and business records
- Credit the sales representative who referred your booking, if applicable
- Measure the effectiveness of our advertising (see Section 4, Cookies & Tracking)
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to providing and improving our services.
3. Who We Share Information With
We share the minimum information necessary with the following service providers, solely to operate our booking and scheduling process:
- Supabase — our database provider, which securely stores your booking information.
- Google Calendar — we create an internal calendar entry for your appointment (name, phone, address, service, and time) so our team can plan our schedule.
- EmailJS — when you submit the booking form, your name, email, phone, address, and appointment details are sent directly from your browser to EmailJS to trigger your confirmation email and our internal notification email.
- Resend — sends your appointment reminder email the day before your scheduled visit.
- Google Maps— as you type your service address, your keystrokes are sent to Google's Places Autocomplete service to help you enter an accurate address.
- Cloudflare Turnstile— verifies you're a real visitor (not a bot) before we accept your booking; processes your IP address for this purpose only.
- Google Ads — see Section 4 below.
We do not use a payment processor to collect card or bank information through our website — payment for services is arranged directly with our team and is not handled by this site.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Duct Divers, our customers, or others.
4. Cookies & Tracking
Our website uses a small number of cookies:
- Google Ads (gtag.js) — loaded on every page to run our advertising and measure whether ads led to a booking. Google sets its own cookies (such as
_gcl_au) as part of this tag. When you complete a booking, we send Google a conversion event containing the service price and currency — this event does not include your name, email, phone, or address. - Cloudflare Turnstile— sets a short-lived cookie while verifying you're not a bot on the booking form.
- Staff login cookies (
sb-access-tokenanduser-role) — used only by our own employees and sales representatives to log into our internal admin/portal system. These are never set for customers, since customers do not have accounts with us.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking cookies may affect ad measurement but will not prevent you from booking a service.
5. Data Retention
We retain booking records for as long as reasonably necessary for scheduling, customer service, warranty, and business record-keeping purposes, and as required by applicable law.
6. Your Choices
To ask what information we have on file, request a correction, or request deletion of your information (subject to any records we're required to keep), contact us using the information in Section 9 below.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for homeowners and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
